The inner cloister's white marble Romanesque door, connecting the Cathedral and the cloister, features geometric motifs and a Gothic-style pediment. This fascinating piece is rumored to date back to the previous Romanesque cathedral.
The cloister has a rectangular layout with four galleries separated by arches resting on pillars. The reliefs on the pillars depict scenes from the Old Testament and a legend about the Holy Cross. Furthermore, look up at the vault keys to discover scenes from the New Testament, etched in stone.
