Based on the beloved French comic, Parc Astérix is a thrill-packed theme park just north of Paris and a favourite with locals. Six themed areas take you from Ancient Gaul and Rome to Greece, the Vikings and Egypt.
Brave Toutatis, one of France's fastest and tallest rides, loop through Oziris, or take on the legendary wooden coaster Tonnerre 2 Zeus. Younger visitors have their own gentler attractions, plus stunt and magic shows throughout the day.
