Dubai International Airport (DXB) serves over 85 million passengers a year β the world's busiest international hub by passenger numbers. For Georgian travelers DXB serves two purposes: a transit point to Asia, Australia and beyond (Emirates and flydubai fly TBSβDXB daily), and a destination in its own right. This guide covers terminals, transit visas, duty-free and all the practical details.
Terminals: T1, T2, T3
- T3 β Emirates exclusive terminal; largest Airside in the world; 180+ shops; check in 3 hours early
- T2 β flydubai hub; handles most TBSβDXB flights; Connect Lounge for transit passengers
- T1 β Lufthansa, British Airways, Qatar Airways; free Internal Shuttle to T3 (15 min)
- T1βT3 Shuttle every 15 min; T2 to T1/T3 requires exiting Airside or taking a separate bus
Moving from T2 to T3 or T1 requires exiting Airside and going through immigration again. Allow at least 3 hours for connections between different terminals.
