Online check-in is one of the easiest ways to make your flight smoother. Flying from Tbilisi (TBS), Kutaisi (KUT) or Batumi (BUS), checking in online lets you pick your seat in advance, skip the check-in queue and have your boarding pass on your phone.
Why online check-in is worth it
- ⏱ Skip the check-in queue — go straight to bag drop or Security
- 💺 Pre-select your seat — window, aisle or bulkhead
- 📱 Mobile boarding pass — no printing needed
- ✅ Mandatory for Wizz Air — missing it costs €50-80 at the airport
- 💰 Add baggage online — 2-3× cheaper than at the airport
Wizz Air — check-in window
Wizz Air opens check-in 30 days before departure for WIZZ Go or Priority ticket holders, and 48 hours before for standard tickets. Online check-in is mandatory with Wizz Air — failing to check in on the website or app incurs a €50-80 fee at the airport.
Pegasus Airlines, Turkish Airlines, FlyDubai
- Pegasus — opens 24 hours before; online check-in is encouraged
- Turkish Airlines — opens 24 hours before; the TK mobile app is the most convenient
- FlyDubai — opens 24 hours before; mobile boarding pass accepted ✓
- Georgian Airways — opens 24 hours before; boarding pass online or at a kiosk
Mobile boarding pass — how to use it
After checking in you have three options: (1) download a PDF boarding pass, (2) add it to Apple Wallet / Google Pay, (3) display the QR code on screen. At TBS Security, a mobile boarding pass is accepted — no printing required.
Check in 24-48 hours before your flight and pick your seat — good spots go within the first few hours.
