Dubrovnik is one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular cities — a limestone-walled old town rising from the deep blue Adriatic, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. Famous worldwide as the filming location for King's Landing in Game of Thrones, it rewards visitors in every season. From Tbilisi, a connection brings you here in 5-7 hours.
Flights from Tbilisi to Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) sits 20 km from the old town. There is currently no direct Tbilisi-Dubrovnik service, but connections are easy:
- Turkish Airlines — Tbilisi (TBS) → Istanbul (IST) → Dubrovnik; total journey ~5-7 hours; the most convenient option
- Wizz Air — Kutaisi (KUT) → Warsaw (WAW) → Dubrovnik; budget-friendly multi-hop
- Lufthansa / Austrian Airlines — via Frankfurt (FRA) or Vienna (VIE); comfortable European hub connection
- Croatia Airlines from Zagreb (ZAG): useful for onward connections to Croatian islands
Visa: Schengen rules
Croatia joined the Schengen Area on 1 January 2023. Georgian citizens with a biometric passport can enter visa-free under the 90/180-day rule — no appointment needed.
Once ETIAS launches (second half of 2026), a €7 online authorisation valid for three years will be required. Full details in Travel365's ETIAS 2026 guide.
