🚝 Marconi Express — the fastest
The Marconi Express opened in 2020 and links the airport directly to Bologna's main Centrale railway station. Trains run every ~7 minutes, from around 05:40 in the morning until midnight. From the station, the center (Piazza Maggiore) is a 10-15 minute walk or one bus stop away.
If you're heading from Bologna to another city, fast trains from Centrale run straight to Florence (~37 min), Milan and Venice, so the Marconi Express drops you right where you need to connect.
🚕 Taxi — a fixed fare
Bologna's official white taxis charge a fixed fare from the airport to the center (≈€24-30, slightly more at night and on Sundays), so you won't stress about the meter. The taxi rank is at the arrivals hall exit.
