Mykonos is one of the best-known Cyclades islands in Greece: whitewashed houses, windmills, narrow lanes and lively beaches. There is no direct flight from Tbilisi, so the trip usually takes 6-10 hours in total.
✈️ Flying from Tbilisi to Mykonos
The simplest route is connecting in Athens (ATH), then taking a short domestic flight of about 40-50 minutes to the island. The alternative is a ferry from Athens, which takes 2.5-5 hours.
- Flight via Athens — the fastest and most convenient
- Ferry from Piraeus or Rafina — cheaper, and you arrive by sea
- In summer, direct flights from several European cities also appear
🛂 Visa for Georgian citizens
Greece is in the Schengen Area. Biometric passport holders can stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa. Check the current ETIAS rules before you travel.
📅 The best season
- May-June — warm weather, fewer crowds and more affordable prices
- September — warm sea and a calmer season
- July-August — peak season, expensive and crowded, often with strong winds
🏝️ Top sights
- 🏘️ Little Venice — houses right on the water, famous for its sunsets
- 🌬️ Kato Mili windmills — the island's symbol
- ⛪ Paraportiani Church — a whitewashed church of unusual shape
- 🏖️ Paradise and Psarou beaches

💰 Budget
Mykonos is one of the most expensive Greek islands. A hotel runs $120-300 a night in peak season and much less in the shoulder months. A meal at a local taverna costs around $15-30.
