Since May 2024, every foreign traveler entering Thailand — including Georgian citizens — must complete the TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) online before arrival. This digital form replaced the old paper immigration card. Filling it in is free and simple, but if you don't know the process ahead of time, you may end up waiting in line on arrival.
📝 What TDAC is and who needs it
TDAC is the digital version of the immigration card, collecting personal details, flight information, your accommodation address and a health declaration. Whether you're entering on a visa or visa-free, the TDAC form is required either way.
🖥️ How to fill it out step by step
- Go to the official site (tdac.immigration.go.th) no more than 3 days before arrival
- Enter your personal details exactly as they appear on your passport, in Latin letters
- Provide your flight number, arrival date and hotel or accommodation address
- Once submitted, you'll receive a QR code by email — save it on your phone or print it
- Filling out the form is free — never use a third-party site that charges a fee for the service
Only fill out TDAC on the official site — tdac.immigration.go.th. Any site that charges a fee for this service is a scam.
🛂 What happens on arrival
An immigration officer scans your QR code together with your passport — a printout isn't strictly required, though it's handy if your phone battery is low. To get from Suvarnabhumi Airport to central Bangkok, take the Airport Rail Link or a taxi from the official rank.
