Flight time and route
A direct flight from Tbilisi to Istanbul takes about 2 hours 30 minutes on average. Istanbul has two international airports — IST (Istanbul Airport on the European side) and SAW (Sabiha Gökçen on the Asian side).
Most flights go to IST, which is more central and convenient for reaching tourist sites.
Best airlines
Several airlines operate the Tbilisi–Istanbul route, each with its own advantages:

Visa and documents
Georgian citizens can enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days. You only need a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the departure date.
Entry with a national ID card is also possible, but only as part of an organized tour.
