🚌 Bus 119 + Metro A — among the cheapest in Europe
Bus 119 is DPP's (Prague Transit) local line, leaving from Stop 6 at the arrivals exit. Every 8-15 min; running 04:00-23:30.
Bus 119 → Nádraží Veleslavín (end of Metro A) → Můstek (center) via Metro A: 35-45 min total.
- Bus 119: PRG → Nádraží Veleslavín, 15-20 min
- Metro A: Nádraží Veleslavín → Můstek / Staroměstská: 20 min
- Ticket: 90-Minute $1.50 (CZK 40); 24-Hour $4 (CZK 120)
- Ticket validation required — at the bus validator or metro entrance
A 24-Hour Ticket at ~$4 is the best deal for a same-day arrival: 119 + Metro A + full city trams/metros/ferries for the day.
🚆 Airport Express (AE) — straight to the central station
AE is Czech Railways' (ČD) express bus, PRG to Hlavní nádraží (Praha hl. nádraží — the central station). Every 30 min.
- AE → Hlavní nádraží: 35 min, $4 (CZK 100)
- Running 05:30-22:00
- Ticket: from the driver, CZK 100
🚖 AAA Radiotaxi — fixed price
AAA Radiotaxi is PRG's official fixed-tariff taxi. $25-40 (CZK 700-1,000) to the center, same fare at night.
Use the AAA counter just past the arrivals exit — they hand you a printed slip with the fixed price.
Don't accept 'Taxi?' offers inside arrivals — unlicensed cabs charge 3-4x the official rate. Use the AAA counter outside or Bolt.
📱 Bolt and Liftago
Bolt is extremely active in Czechia — $20-35 to the center, often cheaper than AAA. Liftago is a local Czech app, similar pricing. Uber left Prague in 2024.
Pickup zone: Terminal 1 arrivals exit, Lane 1-2.
💡 Tips
- Czech koruna (CZK) — withdraw from a city ATM (airport rates are 10-15% worse)
- 24-Hour Ticket at ~$4 is one of the best transit values in Europe
- For late-night Wizz Air KUT-PRG flights — Night Bus 910 runs 23:30-04:30
- Old Town (Staré Město) — 3-min walk from Staroměstská on Metro A
