What carry-on size am I allowed?

It depends on the airline — usually 55×40×23 cm and up to 8 kg. With low-cost carriers the main cabin bag is often a paid extra, and only a small personal bag is free.

Can I carry liquids over 100 ml in my hand luggage?

No. Liquids in hand luggage must be in containers of 100 ml or less, placed in one transparent 1-litre bag. Larger volumes go only in checked baggage.

My flight was delayed — am I owed compensation?

Often, yes. Under EU-261, a delay of 3+ hours on European flights can entitle you to up to €600 in compensation.
