Amsterdam — the capital of the Netherlands, famous for its canals, world-class museums and bicycle culture. An ideal city for lovers of a free, lively atmosphere.
Flying from Tbilisi
Direct flights are seasonal; connecting routes via Istanbul, Vienna or Warsaw are common. Total journey — 6-9 hours including the connection.
The main airport is Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), one of Europe's busiest, 15-20 minutes to the centre by train.
Price and season
A one-way ticket starts around $110. The best time is spring (April-May, tulip season) and early autumn. Winter is cheap, but cold and wet.
Visa
The Netherlands is a Schengen member. Georgian citizens with a biometric passport can enter Schengen visa-free under the 90/180-day rule (with an ETIAS authorisation once ETIAS is live).
